HydroPulse Privacy Policy

At HydroPulse we deeply respect your privacy. This policy explains how information is collected, used and protected when you use the iOS app.

1. Health data and Apple HealthKit

HydroPulse optionally integrates with Apple HealthKit to sync your water intake.

• Reading and writing: we ask for explicit permission to record water samples (HKQuantityTypeIdentifierDietaryWater).
• Your HealthKit data is never used for marketing, ad profiling or data mining.
• Your HealthKit data is never sold, rented or transferred to external servers, advertising networks, data brokers or other third parties.
• All of it stays on your iPhone and in your private Apple Health account.

2. Data stored on your device

• Your body weight (if you enter it to calculate a goal), custom goals, drink log and streaks are stored only on your iPhone.
• No account, password, email address or sign-in is required.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version shows ads served by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob).

• App Tracking Transparency (ATT): the app asks for your permission before any ad tracking. If you decline, you only see non-personalized, contextual ads.
• Google AdMob may collect technical device data (such as model, OS version and advertising identifiers) to deliver ads, prevent fraud and measure audiences. See the Google Privacy Policy.
• "HydroPulse Lifetime Pro", a one-time in-app purchase, permanently turns off all advertising services and ad tracking.

4. Local notifications

HydroPulse can schedule local reminders to drink water. They are created and handled entirely on the device, without sending any information over the internet.

5. Children

HydroPulse does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.

6. Changes to this policy

Any update will be posted on this page with a new date.
